Monkey Mind

Monkey Mind is one of Zack Zublena’s most personal and enigmatic collections. As a seasoned meditation practitioner able to remain in complete stillness for hours, Zack explores the state in which the body fades, thought dissolves, and only pure awareness remains.

Across 12 powerful images, each gold-painted figure appears without a visible head, an artistic choice symbolizing liberation from the “monkey mind,” the ceaseless stream of thoughts and judgments that usually defines our experience. No face, no status, no thought: only the human form, suspended in silence.

Both a visual philosophy and a meditative experience, this enigmatic fine art photography Los Angeles collection speaks to collectors, galleries and wellness spaces seeking conceptual art with a striking presence, and offers exclusive art for Los Angeles interiors and beyond.

Please note: these figurative fine art photographs contain nudity.
