Before the first step, before the first word, there is a form that gathers itself around its own silence.

In the ancient Vedic tradition, this beginning has a name: Hiranyagarbha, the golden womb, the radiant embryo from which the universe is born. We come from gold, and to gold we return. Here, the golden figure folds inward until the body becomes a sphere: a seed, a small planet, a world turning quietly within itself.

This artwork exists in four versions, so that it suits any interior: three different backgrounds, and a headless version. All four are equally striking. The original version is the one set against a deep brown-gold background, the gold leaf wall into which the photograph melts. Please state your preferred version when placing your order.
