Zack Zublena at The Other Art Fair Los Angeles
In March 2019, Zack Zublena exhibited his fine art photography at The Other Art Fair Los Angeles, presented by Saatchi Art.
The exhibition brought together a selection of Zublena’s figurative photographs exploring the human body through movement, shadow, symbolism and visual transformation. Presented as a cohesive installation, the works invited visitors to experience the dialogue between individual photographs and the larger artistic world they collectively create.
The fair offered Zublena an opportunity to meet collectors, discuss his creative process and present his work within an international contemporary-art environment. Visitors could encounter the physical scale, tonal depth and surface quality of the photographs—elements that cannot be fully experienced through a screen.
Zublena’s participation also reflected an important aspect of his practice: creating direct connections between artist, artwork and collector. While an art fair provides energy, discovery and immediate interaction, a bespoke acquisition offers a more personal opportunity to select artwork according to a collector’s interior, story and individual sensibility.
Zack Zublena is a French multimedia artist and fine art photographer working across staged photography, performance, film and painting. His work explores identity, perception and transformation through the human body, carefully controlled light and practical artistic experimentation.
