Zack Zublena’s fine art photography was selected and presented by Duncan Miller Gallery in Los Angeles through its Your Daily Photograph platform.
The featured black-and-white image portrays a reflective body-painted woman curled into a sculptural pose beside water. By removing color, the photograph directs attention toward gesture, texture, light and the emotional presence of the human form.
The body appears simultaneously powerful and vulnerable. Its rounded composition evokes introspection, protection and a return to the self, while the reflective surface of the skin interacts with the movement and texture of the surrounding water.
This presentation introduced Zublena’s work to Duncan Miller Gallery’s international community of photography collectors and reinforced his exploration of the body as a living sculpture.
